The photographic work experiments with light, reflections and distortions. Sculptural shapes in recognizable material and familiar forms of light source become abstract in their distorted reflections. Hereby the image gets an overall abstract expression. Reflections add vibrancy and expressiveness, which gives the photos references to paintings. A black reflective background frames the work and emphasizes the erasure of spatial sense. Motifs are thereby fusions of 2 – and 3-dimensional shapes and objects, where lines between reflections and actual form are ambiguous.
